- Teams are eligible beginning the fifth year after the season being recognized.
- Coaches may be selected at any time.
- Nominations may be submitted on a continuous basis.
Selection:
Election to the Lake Howell High School Athletic Hall of Fame is made by the Hall of Fame Committee. The voting committee consists of two community members, the Athletic Director, one current teacher with a minimum of ten years of experience, and six current or retired coaches. One school administrator serves in a non-voting capacity.
The committee meets in April to review nominations and in May to select the induction class. A quorum consists of seven voting members.
Selection requires approval by seventy percent of the Selection Committee. A maximum of five individuals and/or one team may be inducted in a given year, with a minimum of two inductees. Exceptions may be considered by the committee when warranted.
