Course information
AP Biology is a rigorous first-year college-level course covering biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, evolution, and ecology. It demands strong reading skills, attention to detail, and significant effort outside class. Labroratory experiments are a component of this course, and as such, students considering enrolling should have an understanding of experimental design.

Highly recommended that you have Biology Honors.

Course information
For both courses combined: AB and BC Calculus teach core calculus ideas (limits, derivatives, integrals, etc.) through modeling and problem-solving. Students will learn to apply definitions and theorems to justify their reasoning in an AP format. AB covers foundational concepts while BC includes all AB topics plus two additional units that will strengthen and deepen their understanding of calculus.

Additional Information
To receive college credit, students must get a Level 3 or higher (unless they're going into a heavy math field such as engineering, physics, computer science, etc., then most colleges require a Level 4 or higher). Students who take BC Calculus receive both a BC score and an AB subscore (which could replace their original AB score if its higher).

AP Chemistry is a rigorous, college-level course exploring chemical principles, reactions, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, and equilibrium. Course information
AP CSP is an introductory-level course meant for all students. You don’t need an advanced understanding of coding to be successful. In this course, you’ll learn how computers and technology are impacting our daily lives from the apps we use, to how our personal data is collected, to how AI can have positive and negative consequences. Students work collaboratively to creatively address real-world issues using the tools and processes of computation.

Course information
This course develops students’ skills in evidence-based analytical and argumentative writing, as well as the rhetorical analysis of nonfiction texts—including visual texts—from various historical periods and disciplines. Students learn to evaluate, synthesize, and cite research effectively.
Pre-Requisite
AP English Language and Composition aligns with an introductory college-level rhetoric and writing curriculum. No prerequisites are required, but students should be prepared to read and analyze college-level texts and write in grammatically correct, complete sentences. This course is for 12th grade students only.

Course information
This course focuses on studying short stories, drama, poetry, and novels and analyzing them for character, structure, narration, contrasts, figurative language, and theme. Students will read, discuss, and write about literature both in and out of class.
Pre-Requisite
Students must have passed the FAST, ideally with a Level 4 or 5. Completing AP English Language is helpful but not required. This course is for 11th grade students only.
Additional Information
We read and discuss college-level texts which sometimes include mature content. Please consider if this is an appropriate fit for you before enrolling in the course. Additionally, students will be expected to read at least one novel outside of class each nine weeks.

Course information
The AP French Language course is designed to provide deeper understanding and broader application of the French language. The AP French Language course is set up to focus on all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Students will learn to understand spoken French in various contexts. They develop the vocabulary to understand newspapers, magazines and literature. They also develop the ability to express themselves orally and in writing in various contexts.

AP Music Theory is an introductory college-level course covering music theory and aural skills. Students study pitch, rhythm, timbre, harmony, and phrase relationships through analysis of diverse repertoire. AP Research encourages students to demonstrate critical thinking and academic research skills on a topic of the student’s choosing. Through this exploration, students will design, plan, and conduct a year-long research based investigation to address a research question. Students will write a research paper and give an oral presentation.

AP Seminar aims to engage students in cross-curricular conversations that explore the complexities of academic and real-world issues by analyzing divergent perspectives. Students learn to synthesize information from multiple sources, develop their own perspectives in written essays, and design and deliver presentations, both individually and as part of a team.

AP Spanish Language and Culture is an advanced course that strengthens Spanish communication skills through authentic materials, cultural exploration, and real-world tasks.
